Talked to Terry at the pound...the dog the people called him about last week is not Louie:(
They will keep him till Friday and he would be put down at 4:30pm. I gave him my cell and told him NOT to put him down and to call me if no one comes to get him. I will be checking in with him through the week. He said Louie is just fine, still a little shy (understandable) but not growling or barking or anything. I'll maybe visit him on Tues or Weds...
PS: for those of you wondering why I wouldn't take him, with a 10 mo old and a 3 year old AND Corey on crutches until April...AND the fact we are gone from home from 7am to 5:30pm everyday, it just wouldn't be fair to any animal at this point to live at our house:( We'll have to wait till the kids are older and can play more easily with a dog...

Nice job Kelly. Hope everything works out for "Louie". He really is a nice dog. My dog would not appreciate another coming into HIS home otherwise ............
